Summer Wedding Look

Happy Friday, beauties!

Wedding season is FULLY upon us! Last year, my husband and I were invited to about 7 different weddings! It seemed like everyone we knew was getting married — all within MONTHS of each other. Because I was pregnant and had my son Ryan last Summer, I couldn’t go to any of the weddings between April and September. This year, we were invited to a few weddings again, with 2 this summer. Summer weddings are my favorite because you can dress in so many different ways. A lot of the weddings in the Fall and Winter are so much more formal, but in the Summer, your wardrobe can range from a nice gown to a skirt and blouse combo or even a dressy jumpsuit. Summer weddings give you the ability to try out looks you wouldn’t normally try — like a BRIGHT color or a printed shoe!

I could not WAIT to show you guys this look! If you look on my Instagram, I’ve already given several previews! The top is from my 3-4-1 series, where I styled one blouse 5 different ways. The skirt is from Charlotte Russe and was on sale for $5, making this look a total of $20! You cannot beat a deal like that! I decided to accessorize this look with my favorite color — black! I am a firm believer that black matches everything so it is definitely my go-to color. I love the fact that my purse can be worn on my shoulder AND as a regular clutch. It’s like having 2 bags in 1! The embellishments are everything.

Although I could not find the exact same items today, I did link a pleated skirt and one shoulder top below exclusively using the website BooHoo. They offer 50% off ALL the time so I found a similar look for $21 total! (minus taxes, s&h). Uh-May-Zing.
